TRAINING COURSE – Additive Manufacturing Processes Overview | Operator Powder Bed Fusion – Laser Beam Part 1

The seminar provides basic knowledge about additive manufacturing processes. The processes according to DIN EN ISO ASTM 52900 2017-06 will be addressed. The seminar imparts knowledge about the processes with

• Binder application
• Directional energy input
• Material extrusion
• Material application
• Layer lamination
• Powder bed based melting
• Furnace-based photopolymerization

The special features of the processes and the materials that can be processed in each case will be discussed.

The seminar is part of the Operator Additive Manufacturing training and can be taken individually or as part of the complete training.

The training for Operator Additive Manufacturing PBF-LB is based on guideline EWF-AM-QUAL-003-19. The seminar corresponds to the necessary Competence Unit 00.
