ifw Jena celebrates Summer
On September 7 2019 all employees of ifw Jena were invited to celebrate a summer party. Also invited were their partners, children and grandchildren.
On the first Saturday of September, staff members of the institute met in Jena for a joint dinghy tour. From Jena, the journey took two boats down the Saale river via Porstendorf to Dorndorf.
Around noon, the group arrived at the Dorndorfer sports field and enjoyed various barbequed dishes to celebrate the end ofsummer. For all those who still had enough energy after paddling, an ifw Jena football match took place; the winner received a cup made in the institute.
It was not just institute employees who were invited to take part in boat tours, lunches and football matches – children, grandchildren and partners were also invited to enjoy the day together with their colleagues.
