ifw Jena was represented at the DVS CONGRESS with two lectures:

In addition to the lectures, the staff of the institute had the opportunity to network with colleagues and make new contacts in the field of welding and laser processing.

At the center of the congress, which is organized annually by DVS e. V., stood topics like Welding Technology 4.0, approaches to digitization and intelligent networking, as well as additive manufacturing, occupational safety, and qualification and quality assurance. Practical topics included steel and bridge construction, vehicle construction, construction and strength.
