Research article in "Progress in Additive Manufacturing"

In the accompanying volume to DDMC 2020 selected conference contributions will be published. An article on the research results of the project qualiTi - Systematic Analysis of Factors Influencing Powder Properties during Beam Melting - is also published in it.

The DDMC 2020 – Fraunhofer Direct Digital Manufacturing Conference – will take place in Berlin on March 18 and 19. ifw Jena will be represented at the conference with two presentations:

Jörg Hildebrand, Yarop Ali, Jean Pierre Bergmann, Johannes Ullrich, Thomas Seul, Steffen Dahms, Simon Jahn:
"Additive Manufacturing of Large, Temperature-controlled Injection Molding Tools Using Arc Welding and Diffusion Bonding"
March 18 2020, 16:00 hours

Sebastian Matthes, Maximilian Kluge, Simon Jahn, Claus Emmelmann:
"Factors Influencing Powder-properties of TiAl6V4 along the L-PBF Process Chain"
March 19 2020, 15:20

The research results of our colleague Sebastian Matthes will be published not only at the conference but also in the accompanying publication. His research article "Factors Influencing Powder-properties of TiAl6V4 along the L-PBF Process Chain" was selected as one of 10 papers to be published in the conference proceedings "Progress in Additive Manufacturing" at Springer Nature.
