ifw Jena at Rapid.Tech
Rapid.Tech is an annual trade fair all about generative manufacturing processes. Industry and research come together here and present current developments in the field of additive manufacturing of a wide variety of materials.
At booth 2-200, ifw Jena will showcase its extensive research work on various additive processes. The institute's current findings will be presented at a variety of exhibits. Among other things, the institute will be exhibiting illustrative material on powder bed-based processes and processes for material extrusion with metals. In addition, there are demonstrators on diffusion bonding of metals and glasses, laser cladding and hybrid manufacturing, where additively manufactured components are joined with conventionally manufactured parts using the laser beam.
