Open position in the field of additive manufacturing
We are looking for a research assistant (m/f/d) in the field of additive manufacturing.
YOUR TASKS
- Planning and execution of investigations in the powder bed based additive manufacturing of metallic components
- Support in the planning, application and documentation of publicly funded research projects
- Processing of services and support in contract research
- Documentation and evaluation of research results
YOUR PROFILE
- Successfully completed technical and scientific studies (laser technology, optical technologies, mechanical engineering, materials science or (comparable)
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes in the field of additive manufacturing
- Basic knowledge with design software
- Initial experience in project management desirable
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm for scientific challenges
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong team and communication skills
- Independent and reliable way of working
