HEAT TREATMENT with furnace based processes

Heat treatment processes are used to set material properties at near-net shape components. These include, among other things, the microstructure and characteristic phases, the homogeneity of the alloy components and the state of stress in the material itself. By means of machining processes, internal stresses are generated in components which can be removed by stress relief annealing after final production. In addition, demixings formed by removal processes can be cured by diffusion or homogenization annealing processes.
