We pass on the know-how from our research in seminars and workshops. This keeps course participants up to date with the latest developments and makes it easy for them to acquire new knowledge. Through training and further education at ifw Jena, we support companies in remaining fit for the future with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in modern manufacturing processes.
Welding training in common processes at ifw Jena will once again be supported by the Free State of Thuringia with funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) Plus in 2025. As a result, there are no participation fees for these courses. Employees and self-employed persons from Thuringian companies can take part.
Since 2024, training to become an international welding specialist has also been eligible for funding. The Employment Agency supports companies in the further training of their employees via education vouchers or employee qualification.
