Thuringian Research and Technology Forum at ifw Jena

The Research and Technology Forum was organized by the Association of Thuringian Chambers of Industry and Commerce in cooperation with the Thuringia Research and Technology Association.

As a business-oriented research institute that focuses its research work strongly on the needs of commercial enterprises and supports Thuringian companies with its developments to remain fit for the future, ifw Jena was the ideal venue for the forum.

In various presentations, the almost 60 participants received information on innovative developments, current trends in companies and ways to optimize their own production chains. The topics included future-proof production models, innovative approaches to production optimization, the implementation of future-proof models and funding opportunities for research projects in companies.

In addition to the presentations, guests were able to network and exchange ideas with each other in order to generate new ideas and establish collaborations. In laboratory tours, the participants were also given an insight into the laboratories of ifw Jena and the various research and technology areas of the institute.
