Efficient Processing of glass and ceramics
From March 24 to 26, 2026, Ceramitec will be all about high-performance ceramics.
In Hall A5, ifw Jena will showcase innovative methods for processing ceramics and glasses. At the booth, our colleagues will present their work using actual exhibits from our research.
The focus will be on our experience with laser and furnace brazing of ceramics, as well as laser welding, surface treatment, and diffusion welding as 3D printing processes for ceramics. The advantages of these methods over conventional processes lie in their high degree of automation, their precision, the ability to precisely control heat input locally, and the design freedom they offer.
