Start-Ups in Thüringen präsentieren ihre Forschungsvorhaben

Die Preisträger bei get started 2gether 2026
On March 24, 2026, 12 startups from Thuringia pitched their innovative ideas in the “get started 2gether” startup competition organized by the Thuringia Research and Technology Network (FTS).

Active Medical Xcellence GmbH also participated in the competition and presented its project. The company develops innovative, ultra-compact medical technology for urological procedures. Together with ifw Jena, they plan to work on a laser system designed for user-friendly procedures: a diode-pumped solid-state laser will be passively cooled by an additively manufactured heat sink.

The jury, composed of representatives from business, science, and politics, selected the project. As a result, AMX will now receive funding from the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs for research work with ifw Jena.

We will now be working closely together for at least the next 6 months. We are supporting the startup with our experience and our plant engineering expertise in the implementation of their project.

The startup competition “get started 2gether” is organized annually by the Thuringian Research and Technology Network (FTS). Young companies from Thuringia that develop innovative technological solutions are eligible to apply.
