Nine new welding supervisors for Thuringia

Neun neue Schweißaufsichtspersonen für Thüringen – alle Teilnehmer schlossen ihre Ausbildung zum Internationalen Schweißfachmann erfolgreich ab
Thuringia has nine new welding supervisors! We congratulate our participants in the international welding supervisor training program on passing their final exam!

Congratulations!

Since November, nine welders have completed the training program. Every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, they traded their welding stations for the classroom.

With their final exams, the participants ultimately proved that they definitely have what it takes to be certified welding specialists. Effective immediately, they can assume responsibility as welding supervisors within their companies.

Training to become an International Welding Specialist is an ideal opportunity for employees in the metalworking industry to advance their careers. For companies that offer welding services in regulated sectors, employing a welding supervisor is a requirement.

At ifw Jena, we offer this training as a part-time program. Our colleagues from all research areas contribute their expertise to the course. We deliver the theoretical instruction online, so participants can join from anywhere in the world rather than having to be physically present in Jena.

The next International Welding Specialist training program begins on November 6.
