Cycle-optimized process chain for additive manufacturing of metallic tool components via material extrusion
The aim of the project is to further develop the more efficient use of additive manufacturing by means of material extrusion of metal materials using the example of machining components. This will be done along the entire process chain from design, debinding and sintering to post-processing and application validation. In addition to economic aspects, efficiency is evaluated primarily on the basis of the increasingly important issues of sustainability, circular economy and resource efficiency. The project also serves to establish local and regional supply chains.
