Development of a manufacturing process for adhesive bonded rotor assemblies in electric spindle drives
The aim of the research project is the development of an efficient manufacturing process for rotor assemblies in electric spindle drives. Adhesive bonding is to be used as the manufacturing process and, as far as technology is developed and optimized, an economic implementation is possible after the end of the project.
Therefore, it is necessary to efficiently manufacture rotor shafts with adhesive outer contours and to machine rotors so that they are functional and have adhesive-suitable inner contours. Based on this, an economically and technologically feasible joining device and manufacturing technology will be developed and optimized in order to produce rotor assemblies in fewer production steps, which meet the current market requirements.
