X-ray emission during industrial USP-processing
The projects aims to research laser inducted ionised radiation which occurs during laser processes with ultra-short pulse (usp) lasers from a peak pulse intensity of 10 TW/cm².
The knowledge gained will be used to develop recommendations for small and medium-sized users of USP lasers that allow safe and economical operation within the framework of the Radiation Protection Ordinance in force since January 2019.
